New York, May 20: Hollywood actress Mary Louise Parker is upset about her nude bathtub scene in the sitcom ‘Weeds’, as she thinks that it was not required.Mary, who plays Nancy Botwin, a marijuana-selling mom in the sitcom "Weeds", thinks that she did not need to bare all for the scene.
"I didn’t think I needed to be naked. I fought with the director about it, and now I am bitter,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying. She revealed that the scene, which is on the Internet, was taken too far. “I wish I hadn’t done that. I was goaded into it,” she said. However, the co-executive producer of ‘Weeds’, Roberto Benabib, has defended the scene by saying that it is one of Mary’s best scenes. "We felt at that point in her life, defenses had been so thoroughly stripped away. There was a nonchalance to the nudity that informed the scene,” Roberto said. "I thought it was wonderful, one of the five best scenes Mary-Louise has ever done (on ``Weeds``),” Roberto added. ANI
