Sydney: Australian Test bowler Mitchell Johnson has stated that it is great to keep the conversation going about his moustache and he did not expect the idea to take off like it has.
According to News.com.au, Johnson set out to raise 50,000 dollars for mens` health by keeping his handle bar face hair for the summer instead of shaving at "Movember`s" end. Johnson said that he decided to go the handlebars, which worked and he has got a lot of support since the Brisbane Test match. The bowler also said he was moved by The Advertiser`s call to arms and "Momentum" that rolled through social media. Legendary fast bowler Dennis Lillee proudly wore a moustache from 1970 while Merv Hughes continued the tradition until 1994, the report said. Johnson said that people told him it was lucky, just like for greats Merv Hughes and Dennis Lillee.
