Venue for Sachin Tendulkar’s final Test to be decided today

Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will meet today to finalise the venues for the upcoming West Indies series in November. The board’s Programmes and Fixtures committee is all set to allot the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) the second of the two Tests to be played between India and West Indies which will also be Sachin Tendulkar’s last game in the whites for the country. West Indies will be in India for a short tour to play in two Tests and three ODIs beginning 6th November. The board has reportedly arranged this series to allow Tendulkar play his final game for India on home soil and at a venue where he made his first class debut – the Wankhede Stadium. Last week Tendulkar announced that his 200th Test against West Indies will be the last time he represents India in an international match as he has decided to call it a day.
