Pune: An unbeaten 82 from all-rounder Shrikant Mundhe helped Maharashtra take a handy 60-run lead over Odisha on day three of a Group B match in the Ranji Trophy here on Tuesday.

Maharasthra, resuming the day on 126 for no loss, went on to score 371 in reply to Odisha's first innings score of 311. Odisha were one for no loss in their second innings at stumps. Besides his batting exploits, Mundhe had picked up four wickets when Odisha was batting.

Harshad Khadiwale (83) and Chirag Khurana (54) gave Maharashtra an ideal start by sharing 137 runs for the opening wicket.

Medium pacer Deepak Behera delivered with the ball for Odisha, taking four at an economy rate of 2.27. Biplab Samantray picked up three wickets conceding three wickets for 36 runs.
