Legendary Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara on Saturday hailed teammate Dinesh Chandimal for his brilliant 2nd innings knock against India.

New Delhi: Legendary Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara on Saturday hailed teammate Dinesh Chandimal for his brilliant 2nd innings knock against India.
The retiring left-hander took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to praise the 25-year-old batsman.
Sangakkara said Chandimal's innings of 162* at Galle was one of the best counter punching knocks he had ever witnessed.

Sangakkara also lauded Rangana Herath and Tharindu Kaushal for their bowling show against the visitors.
Chandimal was adjudged Man of the Match as Sri Lanka pulled off one of the most stunning comeback wins in recent times.
The hosts, after trailing by 193 runs after the first innings, won the Test by 63 runs.
