• David Warner (180) has posted his career-best innings, eclipsing the 123 not out against New Zealand at Hobart last month. The said innings is the highest by an Australian player against India at WACA Ground, beating Bobby Simpson`s 176 in 1977-78. • Warner (180 off 159 balls) has recorded the second highest by an Australian opener against India - the highest is Matthew Hayden`s 203 at Chennai in March 2001. • Warner has produced a strike rate of 113.20 – the highest by an Australian player while posting a century against India, surpassing Adam Gilchrist`s 108.92 - 122 off 112 balls at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in 2000-01. • Rahul Dravid (32 not out) has recorded his second highest innings at WACA Ground, Perth next only to the 93 in 2007-08. • Michael Clarke has amassed 379 runs (ave. 126.33) in just four innings - the highest on either side in the present series. His strike rate of 65.57 is quite impressive. • Clarke`s above runs tally is the highest by an Australian captain in three Tests in a series against India, eclipsing Greg Chappell`s tally of 368 (ave. 73.60) in Australia in 1980-81. • Sachin Tendulkar, as number four batsman, has become the first player to complete 13,000 runs, aggregating 13003 in 255 innings, including 44 centuries, at an average of 56.78. • Cowan (74 off 120 balls) has posted his highest Test innings, his second half-century - his first fifty was 68 on Test debut at MCG against India. • Ben Hilfenhaus is the first bowler to claim 20 wickets in the present series at an average of 16.95. Peter Siddle has bagged 15 wickets at 20.73 runs apiece - the second best tally in the series. • Bowling at first position, Zaheer Khan has completed 200 wickets at an average of 30.04 in 98 innings. He is the second Indian bowler to have claimed 200 wickets or more while bowling at first position. Kapil Dev had claimed 411 wickets at this position at an average of 30.02 in 210 innings. • VVS Laxman has registered his 14th duck in Tests – his third against Australia. • Umesh Yadav (5/93) has registered his best bowling figures in Tests, bettering the 4 for 70 against Australia at Melbourne in December 2011. • Yadav`s superb feat of 5 for 93 is the second best by an Indian bowler at WACA Ground, Perth. Bishan Singh Bedi took 5 for 89 in 1977-78. • Bedi is only Indian bowler to register two five-wicket hauls at Perth. Manoj Prabhakar is the only other bowler to take 5 wickets for 105 runs at this venue in February 1992. • Mahendra Singh Dhoni (43 dismissals - 34 catches + 9 stumpings in 13 Tests), has overtaken Syed Kirmani`s tally of 41 (29 catches + 12 stumpings) in 17 Tests to establish an Indian record for most dismissals against Australia. • Australia (369) have made their second highest total against India at WACA Ground, next only to the 394 in 1977-78. • David Warner an Ed Cowan have added 214 for the first wicket - Australia`s second highest against India, behind the 217 between David Boon and Geoff Marsh at SCG in 1985-86. • The above stand is Australia`s second highest for the opening wicket at WACA, Perth, next only to the 228 between Michael Slater and Mark Taylor against Sri Lanka in 1995-96. • The 214-run opening partnership is the highest for Australia for any wicket against India at WACA Ground. • Three stands of 200 or more have been registered for Australia for the first time in a Test series against India - 288 (4th) between Michael Clarke and Ricky Ponting and 334 (unbroken - 5th) between Clarke and Michael Hussey - both at SCG and 214 between Cowan and Warner in the Perth Test.
