  • Gambhir has got the Man of the Match award for the eighth time in ODIs - his fourth against Bangladesh.
  • Mahendra Singh Dhoni`s outstanding batting average of 121.66 is the highest by any player in the Asia Cup - 365 in six innings, three times not. His tally includes one hundred and two fifties.
  • Dhoni`s sequence of scores in the Asia Cup have been 109 not out, 26 not out, 76, 67, 49 and 38 not out.
  • Against Bangladesh, Dhoni averages 63. 40 - 317 in nine innings, including one century and one fifty.
  • For winning cause, Dhoni has aggregated 3611 at an average of 2.06, including six centuries and 24 fifties, in 91 matches.
  • India`s excellent win by six wickets is their 20th in the Asia Cup.
  • With their aforesaid win, India have won 20 ODIs out of 22 played against Bangladesh - success percentage 90.90.
