Brett Ratner calls Robert Pattinson superhero material

London: ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson may soon portray a superhero in filmmaker Brett Ratner`s movie adaptation of graphic novel ``Youngblood``. Ratner admits that he considers Pattinson to be a potential contender for a leading role in the film, about a sanctioned team of government superheroes.

"He just feels like he belongs in that world. I don`t only see him as a vampire, he`s a really good actor, Pattinson could do anything. He just has that look. I picture him on Youngblood, for sure," the Daily Star quoted the producer/director as saying. The ‘Rush Hour, filmmaker, currently working on the script for the big screen version of Rob Liefeld````s comic, has also revealed that he has not presented the idea to Pattinson as yet. He, however, insists that he definitely sees the actor as superhero material. He told a website "If and when I make the movie I would consider Robert Pattinson. (But) we are still writing the script." ani
