Despite scoring 100 international centuries, Sachin Tendulkar, one of the most iconic figures in world cricket, is never recalled for his catches on the field.
However, in one of the match against Pakistan, young Tendulkar took a mind-blowing catch running backwards from short midwicket to dismiss the batsman.
Pakistan were in commanding position at 80/0 in 7.5 overs. It was then that Shahid Afridi, batting on 47, mistimed a slog-sweep and it was Tendulkar's brilliance which gave India their first breakthrough.
