VVS Laxman 'honoured' to be part of cricket advisory committee
Former Indian batsman VVS Laxman on Monday said it was an honour to be inducted into the newly set-up cricket advisory panel of the BCCI.

New Delhi: Former Indian batsman VVS Laxman on Monday said it was an honour to be inducted into the newly set-up cricket advisory panel of the BCCI.
VVS took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to express his sentiments and also state that he would give his best in order to contribute to Indian cricket in his new role.

On Monday, BCCI announced of its decision to appoint Indian cricket stalwarts Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman to cricket advisory committee of the board.
However the specific roles of each of them is yet to be known But the panel will have its first meeting in Kolkata with presidentJagmohan Dalmiya and secretary Anurag Thakur before the Indian team departs for Bangladesh.
