Shah Rukh bails out of Amitabh Bachchan’s personal IIFA invitation

The actor, who is known for his love for awards and golden trophies, has decided to give a miss to the much-anticipated IIFA awards this year as the star studded event is the bastion of the Bachchans.The magnanimous involvement of Big B and the rest of his family, has turned the supposed award event into a Bachchan family drama… a sign that doesn’t go down too well with Shah Rukh Khan’s pride or may we say ego. Going in flashback, post Big B’s courtesy visit to a recuperating Shah Rukh Khan, the two stars had slammed media reports stating an undying rift between the duo. In order to strengthen their new-found friendship, Big b even went ahead and personally invited Shah Rukh to attend the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. But grapevine now has it that Shah Rukh, in his true diplomatic style, has found the right excuse to refuse Big B’s personal invitation. The actor has reportedly planned his family vacation in such a manner that he is bound to be occupied during the IIFA grand bash. Now that’s being simply cheeky.
