Anti-doping chief wants Juve doctors banned

Paris: Juventus doctors Bartolomeo Goitre and Luca Stefanini should face three-month bans for their mishandling of Fabio Cannavaro`s treatment for a wasp sting, Italy`s anti-doping chief said in a statement.Cannavaro had previously been cleared of wrongdoing after failing a drugs test in August, two days after receiving an emergency cortisone injection for the sting.However, Juve`s doctors have been charged because of a mix-up over documentation and a tribunal will now decide whether to uphold the anti-doping chief`s request for a ban.
