London: Chelsea can win a Premier League and Champions League double this season, according to Ashley Cole.
The Chelsea stars will meet new boss Andre Villas-Boas when they start training this week and Cole has vowed to make up for last season’s disappointments.
Chelsea was runners-up to Manchester United and was also knocked out of the Champions League by the Alex Ferguson’s team.
Cole is adamant that Chelsea will rise again under Villas-Boas, a daily reports
He said: “I don’t think we’re becoming detached from United and Barca are beatable. I went to the Champions League final and thought United could win.”
“The way Barca played was unbelievable, like a machine, and you can see why people think they’re unbeatable. But we should have beaten them in the semis two years ago when we had three penalties turned down,” Cole added.
