Di Matteo warns Chelsea players to respect rules or face action

London: Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has warned his players to respect rules set by the club as well as the Football Association (FA), and also reminded them of the value of the club’s public image.

They are there to be respected. We have rules and if anybody breaks them there is disciplinary action taken against them. We have standards. We strive to have high standards. Hopefully going forward we can be better in showing those,” he added. Terry has until October 18 to decide whether to accept the FA’s four-match ban for aiming a racial insult at Anton Ferdinand. ANI
