Alan Pardew, Sergio Aguero bag November awards in Premier League

New Delhi: Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew was awarded with the manager of the month award for his club's excellent run in November. Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was adjudged player of the month award.

Newcastle posted three victories and one loss in the month of November with wins coming against the likes of Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion and Queens Park Rangers. The Magpies suffered a solitary defeat against West Ham United.

Newcastle lie seventh in the Premier League behind Arsenal in goal difference.

The club posted a photo on social micro-blogging site, Twitter with Pardew holding the award.

Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero was crucial for Manchester City with three goals and two assists. Manchester City won three matches and drew against QPR in November.

Aguero has been instrumental in City's rise in the EPL table. They lie second behind leaders Chelsea and have a three-point difference.

Newcastle United visit the Emirates on Saturday as they take on sixth placed Arsenal in a crucial Premier League encounter.

Manchester City meanwhile, face Leicester City away on Saturday as the champions look to keep in pace with Jose Mourinho's Chelsea.
