London: Everton manager Roberto Martinez has indicated that Samuel Eto`o could be about to leave Goodison Park after revealing that two clubs have shown an interest in the veteran Cameroonian striker.

Eto`o, 33, missed Everton`s FA Cup third-round penalty shootout defeat at West Ham United on Tuesday and Martinez said that his future at the club was under discussion.

"With Samuel, we have a really good relationship and we are looking at his situation," Martinez told reporters in the wake of Everton`s 9-8 defeat on penalties after a match that ended 2-2 following extra time.

"We had a couple of clubs contact us in the last 12 hours so I decided it was better now to leave him out of the squad and allow us a different focus in the group.

"We will decide (in the) next few days the next step. He`s been fantastic for us, we`ve got a really good relationship and we will see what`s (the) next best step for both."

When asked if Eto`o had played his last game for Everton, Martinez replied: "No, I wouldn`t say that."

Former Barcelona, Inter Milan and Chelsea striker Eto`o signed a two-year contract with Everton last August and has made 20 appearances to date this season, scoring four goals.
