Rio de Janeiro: Brazil forward Hulk has expressed his frustration at being continuously linked with the same clubs despite only joining Zenit St Petersburg last summer.
Ahead of the Selecao`s game against Russia on Monday night, the attacker was subject to transfer questions at Sunday afternoon`s pre-match press conference at Stamford Bridge, but dismissed suggestions he would be playing to secure a move to the Premier League.
"I don’t think (I`m in the shop window)" Hulk told reporters.
"Each game for me I face the way it is, and I think by now everyone knows me and my football. I’ve been playing for a long time.”
"Every year there is the same speculation, the same stories about where I am going."
"All I know is I’m happy with Zenit, I have a five-year contract with them, and I’m still only 26. I believe the speculation will carry on, but people by now know what I can do.
"I went to Zenit to do my best for the team so we can win titles. That’s what I think I’ve been doing since I’ve been over there. I believe people like me as a player, and I’m also enjoying my time there."
Hulk praised Chelsea trio Oscar, David Luiz and Ramires ahead of the friendly game at their home stadium in west London against Fabio Capello`s side.
"They are great players and also very great people, and we are all friends in the national team," he continued.
"It feels like a big family."
"They are doing well at Chelsea not just because they are great players, but because they are great people. I hope tomorrow we can get together and win the game."
Hulk played in Luiz Felipe Scolari`s side`s 2-2 draw with Italy, which saw the team ranked 18th in the FIFA ranking concede twice in the second half to let slip their two-goal lead over the Azzurri.
