New Delhi: Super Sunday in the I-League 2015-16 went as per script for league leaders Mohun Bagan, while there was a shock in store for Sporting Clube de Goa.

Playing at home, the league's new boys DSK Shivajians registered a thumping 3-1 over the Goan outfit.

A first-half blitzkrieg from hosts saw them race to a three goal lead. Striker Aser Perrick Dipanda broke the deadlock in the 14th minute, before playmaker Douhou Pierre netted a brace (21st & 32nd minute) to give them a 3-0 lead.

Defender Subhasish Bose (73rd) scored a consolation goal late in the second half for Sporting.

While Shivajians were lacking the finish in the final third, Subrata's defence was finally breached as a lapse of concentration saw Sporting pull back a goal midway through the half. Defender Subhasish Bose rose above all in the box on Rowlinson Borges' corner kick to score off a header in the 73rd minute.

This was DSK's second successive win in the league and Derrick Pereira's team is now unbeaten in their last four encounters.

In the day's second match, defending champions Mohun Bagan were guided to a 2-0 win over Mumbai FC thanks to goals from Katsumi Yusa and Sony Norde.

Having started on the bench, Katsumi scored in the 34th minute while Haitian winger Norde clinched the issue in the 62nd minute.

It was Katsumi was brought down by Allan Dias down the right and Japanese took the free-kick. His shot was parried away but Norde finished it, making amneds for his earlier misses.

The goalpost came in the way of Bagan's third in the 75th minute after Norde stormed down the left wing before coming inside and setting Katsumi free.

The Japanese midfielder's angled shot towards the far corner beat Pawan but hit the post. Mohun Bagan have 25 points three points ahead of Bengaluru FC at the top of the table.
