John Terry`s dad denies racially abusing, headbutting Asian-origin worker

London: The father of Chelsea captain John Terry has denied the charges of racism against him after he was accused of calling an Asian-origin railway worker a `f****** Paki` before headbutting him in a drunken row over a cigarette outside a London pub last year.

Ted Terry, who is a self-employed decorator, however, insisted that he is not a racist person and `simply` called Amarjit Talafair a `f****** tight pr**k` and also denied headbutting him. According to Metro.co.uk, although the grand father-of-six admitted downing around seven or eight pints of beer in the Windsor pub before the incident, he however, denied all counts of racism, saying that he has two children who have got `good black friends, Somali friends and from all different cultures`. Terry further said that his colleagues are all from different cultures and he often have a `laugh` with them, although he admitted that having a high-profile footballer as a son can be difficult in public sometimes. Terry denies one count of racially aggravated common assault and one count of racially aggravated fear or provocation of violence, the report added.
