Mumbai FC inflicts 4-0 defeat on HAL

Pune: Striker Abhishek Yadav starred with a brace as Mumbai FC defeated bottom-ranked Hindustan Aeronautical Limited (HAL), Bangalore 4-0 in a round 11 I-League match at the Balewadi Sports Complex on Thursday.

Abhishek scored in the 42nd and the 67th minute to put the Mumbai side firmly in command. Strikes by Cavin Lobo (77th) and Gbeneme Friday (79th) then put the match beyond HAL`s control. Abhishek was named the Man-of-the-match for his effort. Following the win, Mumbai FC has 11 points from 11 matches, while HAL continues to languish at the bottom of the table with just one point from as many matches. PTI
