New Delhi: Robin Singh continued with his good from to guide India to a win in their SAFF Cup opener against Sri Lanka in Trivandrum.

The striker who has also scored against Guam in India's last international game, was one of the standout performers for the Delhi Dynamos in the recently concluded Indian Super League.

After a goalless first half, the Bengaluru FC forward struck twice in the 51st and 72nd minute.

Unfortunately, the 25-year-old picked up an injury and was substituted by Lallianzuala Chhangte.

The 18-year-old Chhangte became the youngest Indian footballer to don national colors.

With the win, the home side is now top of Group A with three points.

The Blue Tigers' next outing in the tournament is on Sunday against Nepal.
