New Delhi: Days after Usain Bolt confirmed his training stint with Borussia Dortmund, the German giants' star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang forward has issued a new challenge to the world's fastest man — to a 30 metre sprint-off.

Aubameyang, 27, is often hailed as one of the fastest footballers and the French-born Gabonese reportedly covered the 30m in just 3.7 seconds, which is still better than Bolt's record over the same distance when the Jamaican set the 100m world record in 2009.

"I'm waiting for you man," Aubameyang told Bolt in an interview with CNN. "I hope to see you one day, and let's do this challenge!"

But the Jamaican, reportedly, found the challenge unwarranted, and said that "People are always trying to call me out. I am Bolt. He knows I'm going to win ..."

There is a distinct possibility of the two superstars finally settling the score when the nine-time Olympic gold medallist start training with Dortmund.
