Chowrasia finishes tied 24th, Grace wins back-to-back titlesGeorge (South Africa): India`s SSP Chowrasia was let down by mid-round blues as he carded a three-over 76 at the par-73 Links at Fancourt in the Volvo Golf Champions on Sunday.

Chowrasia`s 76 saw him finish the week at two-over 294 and in tied 24th place.

Chowrasia had a bogey on fourth and a birdie on fifth. Bogeys on seventh and eighth and a double on 10th and a bogey on 12th saw him at five-over at that stage. However, he retrieved the situation with birdies on 13th and 14th.

Branden Grace, who came through Qualifying School earlier this season, continued his amazing performance with a back-to-win. He won last week at Joburg Open and today he beat Major champions, Ernie Els and Retief Goosen in a play-off after the South African trio was tied at 12-under 280.

In regulation play, as Els and Goosen finished the 18th with a birdie, Grace missed a birdie and a chance to close it before play-off.

At the same time, Nicolas Colsaerts (72) bogeyed the 18th and missed a chance to get into the play-off and ended fourth, as yet another South African Charl Schwartzel (72) was fifth, making it four home players in top-5.
