Ghei ended his campaign with a total of six-under 278 after the veteran pro sank in six birdies against three bogeys at Seri Selangor Golf Club. Among other Indians, C Muniyappa could only manage a modest even-par 71 to end tied 15th with a total of two-under 282. Rahil Gangjee went over-par for the third successive day, carding a 72 to finish tied 29th with a total of one-over 285.Gaganjeet Bhullar finally broke par, turning in a 67 to rise more than 30 spots to tied 32nd. Bhullar ended with a total of two-over 286. Further down, Anirban Lahiri was tied 47th after his week’s worst card of 76 left him five-over overall. Digvijay Singh (77) was tied 60th with an eight-over 292. At the top, Australian Rick Kulacz claimed his second Asian Tour title thanks to a sensational course record equaling eight-under 63 in the final round. The 24-year-old Kulacz, who started the final day six strokes off the lead, fired eight birdies to total 11-under 273 to pip overnight leader Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand by a single stroke.
