Aalborg: SSP Chowrasia found two late birdies on the back nine on the 14th and the 17th to haul himself back into the top-10 of the Made in Denmark Golf Championship here on Saturday.
Chowrasia, now tied 8th up from tied 13th overnight, carded an even par 71 to stay at one-under and five shots behind the co-leaders Marc Warren (66) and Bradley Dredge, who had one more hole to play when was suspended as a crew member of the organizing committee fell ill on the 18th green.
Dredge who birdied the 17th was two-over for the day with the 18th to complete as were Simon Wakefield and Thorbjorn Olesen.
Kapur meanwhile dropped to tied 22nd from tied 13th with a round that had only three bogeys and no birdies for a 74 that him slip to two-over for the week.
Gaganjeet Bhullar (75) was down to tied 50th at five-over 218, while Jeev Milkha Singh had missed the cut. Chowrasia has been using his limited starts after losing his European Tour last year.
Chowrasia had a rough start with bogeys on fifth and sixth holes, but he recovered with a birdie on seventh. A bogey on tenth saw him drop to two-over for the day, but birdies on 14th and 17th helped him get back to par.
The star of the day was Marc Warren who had four birdies in last six holes as he carded five-under 66 with a total of eight birdies and three bogeys.
