Narang crashes out; Karmakar qualifies for Final

Joydeep Karmakar, who was tied joint 4th with the nine more shooters, qualifies for the final. He shot 51.6 in the shoot-off to finish seventh best.

The biggest disappointment, however, is that Gagan Narang has crashed out of the event after finishing at 18th.

Gagan struggles, Karmakar shines

Overall, Gagan started well but in the end it was not good shooting by Gagan Narang. He shot 593 out of 600. He is at 18th. It's all over for him.

Gagan's scores in the firts 6 series are: 98, 100, 100, 98, 97, 100=Total 593 out of 600

But it was very good show by not-so-famous Karmakar. He came up with two perfect 100 in the last two series to end 595 out of 100. He is the one of the 9 shooters who are tied in 4th place. He has to take part in shoot-off which will determine whether he will qualify for the finals.
