Full Name: Ram Singh Yadav Sports: Athletics Events: Men`s marathon Ram Singh Yadav (Marathon): Army man Ram Singh Yadav made it to the London Olympics winning the Mumbai marathon with a time of 2:16.59 surpassing the Olympic qualifying ‘B` standard of 2:18:00. Apart from Yadav, only other marathon runner to take part in the Olympics was Shivnath Singh who had clocked 2:16:22 at the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
