Sports minister Ajay Maken has said that jobs and promotions will be given to any athlete winning medal in the Olympics.

London: Sports minister Ajay Maken has said that jobs and promotions in will be given to any athlete winning medal in the Olympics. "At SAI website tomorrow, wld invite Olympians to join SAI as Grp B Officer Coach Any medal in Olympcs/AsianGames/CWG will be promoted Grp A!" tweeted Maken on Tuesday. Earlier, he wrote a letter to Defence Minister AK Antony seeking changes in policy of armed forces for promotion of outstanding sports persons, pushing for appropriate elevation for Olympic silver medalist Subedar Vijay Kumar.
