The tickets for the richest fight of all time between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will be the most expensive in boxing history.

The price just beats the cost for this year's Super Bowl in Phoenix.

Prices in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 2, Saturday, will start at $1,500 (£1,000) in the rafters and rise to an unprecedented $7,500 (£5,000) at ringside.

They are already fetching upwards of $150,000 (£100,500) on the black market.

According to reports, the prices of hotels on the Strip are charing $1,000 a night.

Reports also suggest that Manny Pacquiao will be wearing the world's most expensive shorts.

The boxing fight is billed as Battle for Greatness or The Fight of the Century. Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated, five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr will take on each other on Saturday.
