Hockey crisis can be solved in 10-15 minutes: KPS Gill

New Delhi: The current crisis in Indian Hockey can "easily" be resolved in "10-15 minutes", feels KPS

Gill, who was the country`s top Hockey boss for 15 years. Gill, an ex-President of Indian Hockey Federation(IHF) and a former Punjab supercop, says he does not understand why the crisis was continuing for so long. "The problem which is persisting can easily be resolved in 10-15 minutes. I do not understand why this is continuing for so long," he said reacting to the stand-off between the players and the Hockey Administrators. Gill told a TV channel tonight his complaint was with the Government and not with anyone else. "You call it a national game. You make such a noise about it being a national game. What you do for it?," he said while pressing for a quick solution to end the crisis. Gill had recently said that the crisis facing Indian hockey was not a problem that cannot be sorted out especially since the World Hockey cup was just a few weeks away. "There should be no issue between administration and players but if there is, they can sit together and sort it out in no time. The situation is terribly unfortunate, for all concerned. Let`s stop the battle about who said what," Gill had said. PTI
