Japan`s Hoshi wins women`s 200m butterfly world gold

Kazan: Japan`s Natsumi Hoshi won the women`s 200m butterfly gold medal at the world championships on Thursday.

Hoshi`s winning time was two minutes, 05.56 seconds with Cammile Adams of the United States taking silver at 0.84 back while 17-year-old Chinese Zhang Yufei swam a new world junior record of 2:06.51 to take bronze.
