Karnataka win five gold on final day of Federation Cup

New Delhi: Karnataka dominated the final day of the National Federation Cup by grabbing five gold medals at the S P Mukherjee Swimming Complex.

Gagan AP won gold in 1500m Free Style event with a timing of 16:07:78 while his state-mate Pooja R Alva took the honours in 400m Individual Medley by clocking 05:22:47.Fariha Khan was another gold medallist for Karnataka with in 100m backstroke with a timing of 01:09:46 while Sandeep Sejwal of RSPB won the men`s event by clocking 01:04:47.Karnataka`s Subha Chittaranjan claimed the yellow metal in 100, Butter Fly stroke with an effort of 01:06:29.
