Kuchina and Licwinko crowned world high jump champions

Russian Maria Kuchina and Poland`s Kamila Licwinko were both crowned high jump champions at the World Indoor Athletics Championships at Sopot on Saturday.

Sopot, Poland: Russian Maria Kuchina and Poland`s Kamila Licwinko were both crowned high jump champions at the World Indoor Athletics Championships at Sopot on Saturday.
Kuchin and Licwinko both managed a best of 2.00 metres and were unseparable on countback, so each received a gold medal. With two golds, there was no silver awarded, Spain`s Ruth Beitia claiming bronze on countback having also jumped 2.00m.
