Maharashtra clinch both rhythmic gymnastics golds on first day

Ranchi: Maharashtra won both the individual
and team gold medals in the Rhythmic gymnastics competitions
of the 34th National Games at the Khelgaon here.

With 182.08 points, Maharashtra girls emerged at the top
in the team championship with Jammu and Kashmir (153.451) and
Punjab (149.421) taking the silver and bronze medals lats
night.

Maharashtra`s Akshita Shetty (74.386 points) won the
individual gold medal, while state-mate Sipra Joshi (72.567)
and Jammu and Kashmir`s Mittali (68.017) finished second and
third respectively.
