New Delhi: India’s Golden Girl, Dipa Karmakar won the hearts of billions of people with her stunning displays at the Rio Olympics.

The 22-year-old gymnast raised eyebrows of the entire nation, so much so that she was recommended for the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award soon after finishing 4th in her vault finals.

The Tripura-girl became India’s first ever gymnast to compete at Olympic finals.
