9: 00 AM IST: As expected, Swimming sensation Michael Phelps has bagged his 19th Gold Medal taking his overall tally to 23. The USA won the men's 4x100M freestyle relay with a time of 3:09:92.

12:05 AM IST: Women's Archery Team quarters - Russia's turn - 9, 10 and 9. India's response - 8, 8 and 9 in the first three set of arrows in the set 4.

Russia's turn - 9, 10 and 8 for a total of 55 points. India's response - 10 from Bombayla, 10 from Manjhi and 9 from Kumari for 53.

11:55 PM IST: Women's Archery Team quarters. Bombayla hits a ten, then another ten from Laxmirani Majhi and 9 from Deepika Kumari. Russians panicked, and India won the second set by a point 53 to 52.
