So that's all from us for today, Mumbai have carved their way into the finals where they will be meeting Pune in Hyderabad. Another exciting Maharashtra Derby and Mumbai will be hoping that they can get their first win this season against them in the match which matters the most. Should be an exciting game of cricket. Join us for all the action on 21st May at 2000 local (1430 GMT). Until then, goodbye and cheers!
Man of the Match, Karn Sharma gives his interview in Hindi. He says this season has been going well because he has been working hard, so is happy about that. Adds that he bowled slow since he wanted to take wickets for his team. Mentions that since they wanted to qualify for the finals, taking wickets was of utmost importance. Ends by saying that he doesn't really think about who is out of the team (Harbhajan Singh in this case) and just wants to contribute to the team's success.
Mumbai skipper, Rohit Sharma says that they have been working hard and deserve to be in the finals. Mentions that a performance like this does a world of good to the confidence of a team. Reckons that their bowlers set the game for them. Applauds Karn Sharma for his brilliant spell tonight. Adds that every individual has stepped up and performed when mattered and that has been the hallmark of their team. Applauds Bumrah for his wicket-taking magic. As a skipper, he replies that he executes the plans that he has been told to do and sometimes makes decisions on his gut feeling. Praises Pune and mentions that they do not hold a good record against them but it would be an exciting final in Hyderabad.
Kolkata skipper, Gautam Gambhir says that they discussed after the last game that this wicket was not a 170-180 wicket and they should have targeted around 140. Credits Ishank Jaggi and Suryakumar Yadav for a good batting performance. Reckons that they hardly put pressure on any of the Mumbai bowlers as they kept losing wickets constantly. Mentions that he is proud of everyone as each and every guy gave it their all. Applauds Mumbai for their performance tonight. Feels that Kolkata had two chances to finish in the top two but they messed it up. Ends by wishing Mumbai and Pune all the best for the finals.
Kolkata were never in this game. Earlier in their innings, barring Ishank Jaggi and Suryakumar Yadav, nobody really did anything at all and that ultimately proved to be their undoing. One of the easiest matches Mumbai could have played, that too in a virtual semi-final.
Mumbai have booked the tickets for their fourth final in the Indian T20 League history with a dominating performance. First they bowled Kolkata out for a paltry total of 107 with Karn Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah leading the charge. It was then just a matter of time before their batsmen chased it down. Rohit Sharma and Krunal Pandya more or less got the job done with a 54-run stand with the latter adding the finishing touches.
14.3: U Yadav to K Pandya, FOUR! Krunal finishes things off in style! MUMBAI ARE IN THE FINAL! A comfortable win for Rohit Sharma's men here. It's short on middle and off, Krunal makes room and looks to cut and it flies towards third man. The fielder there runs to his right and puts in a dive, gets his hand to it but can't exactly keep a hold of it. It goes through him and touches the rope. With this, MUMBAI WIN BY 6 WICKETS AND WITH 33 BALLS TO SPARE!
14.2: U Yadav to K Pandya, Goes for another yorker, ends up bowling a low full toss on off, Krunal wrists it to short mid-wicket for no run.
14.1: U Yadav to K Pollard, Excellent yorker on off, Pollard jams it out in front of covers and takes a quick run.
14.1: U Yadav to K Pollard, Wide! False start. It's well down the leg side, wide signalled by the umpire.
Umesh Yadav is back for a bowl.
End of over 14 (14 runs): Mumbai Indians 105/4 ( K Pandya 41 (28b 7x4 0x6), K Pollard 8 (6b 1x4 0x6), A Rajpoot 1-0-14-0)
13.6: A Rajpoot to K Pandya, FOUR! Stand and deliver stuff from Krunal Pandya. He hammers this full delivery back past mid off and ends the over with a boundary. The left-hander seems to have pulled a groin muscle playing that shot. But he's done the job for his side. He just needs to stay out there.
13.5: A Rajpoot to K Pollard, Tailing back in on middle and leg, worked away behind square on the leg side for one.
13.5: A Rajpoot to K Pollard, Wide! Way, way outside off, Kieron lets it be.

13.3: A Rajpoot to K Pollard, Wide! Spills it down the leg side, Pollard looks to clip but misses.
13.2: A Rajpoot to K Pollard, FOUR! That's poor from de Grandhomme. Pollard pulls this short ball away which the square leg umpire just about manages to evade. Colin out in the deep runs to his right to get to the ball but lets it go right through him. Sums up Kolkata's night, really.
13.1: A Rajpoot to K Pandya, Starts off from around the wicket, angles in a full delivery on middle and leg, Krunal picks it off his pads and flicks it to the left of Chris Lynn at mid-wicket for a run.

12.6: N Coulter-Nile to K Pollard, Short and outside off, Pollard stands tall and looks to cut it away. It goes behind to Uthappa who appeals for the catch alone. Nothing from the umpire though, correctly so too.
12.5: N Coulter-Nile to K Pollard, Angles in a back of a length delivery on off, Pollard clips it towards fine leg and takes a couple of runs.
12.4: N Coulter-Nile to K Pollard, Keeps it on the fuller side, at 141 kph, it's well outside off though as Kieron Pollard shoulders his arms to it.
12.3: N Coulter-Nile to K Pandya, Switches the angle and comes from around the wicket, it's fired full outside off, driven through covers off the front foot for a single.
Kieron Pollard strides out to the middle.
12.2: N Coulter-Nile to R Sharma, OUT! Rohit Sharma is gone! Shortish ball pounded in, Rohit gives the charge and pulls it over mid-wicket. It's straight down the throat of Ankit Rajpoot in the deep who takes a good catch. A little too late though, at best a complimentary wicket for Kolkata.

11.5: S Narine to K Pandya, The batsman has played that off the front foot and into the ground.
11.4: S Narine to K Pandya, Straighter in line, on the stumps, looks to block but is rapped on the pads.
11.3: S Narine to K Pandya, FOUR! Goes inside out and gets the desired result. Leans ahead and lofts it neatly over extra cover for a boundary. Super shot.
11.2: S Narine to K Pandya, A hint of flight on this occasion, Krunal gets behind the line and defends well.
11.1: S Narine to K Pandya, FOUR! That's a lovely shot. Flat, short and around off, Krunal backs away a bit and runs it fine past short third man. The placement is perfect as the ball races away to the boundary line.

10.2: P Chawla to K Pandya, FOUR! That's well struck! It's tossed up outside off, Krunal stands his ground and hammers this straight back down the ground. Doesn't give the man at long off any chance to stop that one.

End of over 10 (3 runs): Mumbai Indians 64/3 ( K Pandya 17 (15b 2x4 0x6), R Sharma 19 (19b 1x4 0x6), S Narine 3-0-13-0)

Ishank Jaggi and Suryakumar Yadav stitched in a crucial partnership of 56 runs to avoid total embarrassment. Hardly any other batsman deserved any mention. Jasprit Bumrah was undoubtedly the best bowler of the night and he ended with figures of 3-1-7-3. Should be an easy chase for Mumbai and Kolkata can just hope their bowlers pull out a miracle here. Join us back for the chase.
Incredible bowling performance from Mumbai! After electing to bowl, Rohit Sharma handed the responsibility of the new ball to Lasith Malinga and Jasprit Bumrah. They did not disappoint even a bit as the latter sent back the dangerman Lynn back in the hut. All the other batsmen were struggling in the middle and could hardly score any runs. Karn Sharma was handed the ball in the fifth over and things just got worse for Kolkata and he returned with career best figures of 4-0-16-4 in the Indian T20 League.
18.5: L Malinga to A Rajpoot, OUT! Bowled! Malinga has his first of the game and last of the innings. Bowls it slow again, deceives Ankit Rajpoot once more and makes him play early.
