Mario Balotelli is an enigmatic figure who has gained popularity among the soccer fans not just for his tricks with the ball but for his off-field antics as well. He debuted for Italy in August 2010 against Côte d`Ivoire in a friendly that his side lost 0-1.
His first goal for the national side came against Poland in November 2011 that Italy won 2-0.
So far, the striker has scored three goals for Italy in the Euro championships, the first of which came against Ireland via a superb bicycle kick. The next two were scored in the semifinal match against Germany that his side won 2-0 and thus joining Spain in the final for the title clash.
