Deepika Padukone miffed with co-actor Saif Ali Khan

Deepika Padukone’s rising fame in Bollywood is akin to a fairy tale story. Coming straight from the modeling circuit, Deepika might be just a few flicks old but this lissome actress has taken Bollywood world by a storm. According to the latest B-town gossip, Deepika is apparently peeved by her co-actor and producer Saif, who has been mentioning in his interviews wishing Kareena to be a part of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ rather than Deepika.

Mumbai, May 07: Deepika Padukone’s rising fame in Bollywood is akin to a fairy tale story. Coming straight from the modeling circuit, Deepika might be just a few flicks old but this lissome actress has taken Bollywood world by a storm. According to the latest B-town gossip, Deepika is apparently peeved by her co-actor and producer Saif Ali Khan, who has been mentioning in his interviews wishing his ladylove to be a part of ‘Love Aaj Kal’ rather than Deepika. However, with ‘Chote Nawab’ openly professing his love for Kareena, Deepika seems to be upset with the dishy actor who is sending wrong signals about his leading actress in his debut production venture. However, the doe-eyed beauty is putting up a brave front and says, "I wouldn`t like to comment on it as he`s my producer. He`s a great producer and a great co-star and I am happy that my director Imtiaz Ali wanted me to be there. I have gone according to his dictates. It`s scary the kind of stuff Imtiaz has envisaged for my character in the film it`s so close and similar to me. It`s almost as if he had written the film with me in mind." When enquired about Saif wanting Kareena in the flick, Deepika said, "He`s in love and that`s a good thing. I don`t feel bad because I am confident about what I have done and I know he won`t repent taking me in his film." With Deepika being romantically involved with an actor, she can barely think of asking a director to cast them in any movie! Of late, Deepika recently came back to India and is struggling with bad flu. The petite actress gave SRK’s party for Gerard a miss-courtesy flu; nevertheless, the actress has been shooting for Farhan’s ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ inspite of her bad health. When enquired about her wellbeing, the actress confirmed, "Yes, I was a bit unwell but I didn`t want to cancel the shoots. I missed Shah Rukh`s party because I was unwell and exhausted. I was shooting till 11 pm that night and had to report for shooting again the next day from 9 am again." Talking about her bad health, Deepika said that, "It started only after we had left Lima (in Peru)." The dainty beauty is gloomy that she wasn’t able to visit Cuzco as, "I have never been to South America before and was hoping to see the Land of the Inca and Machu Picchu but there was too little time. I was in Lima for less than 48 hours." Well, wishing Deepika best of health and a prosperous future!
