Berdych reaches Madrid Open final beating del Potro

Madrid: Tomas Berdych defeated Juan Martin del Potro 7-6 7-6 in the controversy blue clay court to reach the finals of the Madrid Open. The Serb had defeated compatriot and No.1 Novak Djokovic in the quarters. After the match Djokovic had said “I won`t be here next year if this clay stays”. Even Rafa Nadal vented out his reservations regarding the blue court stating he wouldn`t return unless the tournament reverts to red clay.
