CHANCE OF A LIFETIME! How Indians can watch Rafael Nadal play without spending a rupee

New Delhi: Spain will field a full-strength squad during its Davis Cup tie against India between September 16-18.

This is great news for Indian fans on two fronts. First, they will get to watch Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez in action and second, they can to do so absolutely free.

According to a report on ESPN.in, the AITA has decided to waive off the entrance fee for the tie in New Delhi.

"Though there was an obvious scope to offer tickets at a price, we didn't want to deprive people of an opportunity to watch some great tennis. We'd rather have spectators at the stands than sell tickets," AITA secretary general Hiranmoy Chatterjee told ESPN.

Thanks to this initiative by the tennis association, the RK Khanna tennis stadium in the capital could be packed to the rafters when Rafa is in town.

This is also a great chance for tennis lovers, in and around the capital, to watch the 14-time Grand Slam winner in action especially if they were reluctant to shell out Rs 4000 during the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) when he last played in the country.
