Sania-Elena bow out of Qatar Open

Doha: Targetting her second title in a row, Sania Mirza crashed out of the Qatar Open along with partner Elena Vesnina after a straight-sets defeat against Vera Dushevina and Shahar Peer.

The second seed Indo-Russian pair lost the second round match 4-6 4-6 in one hour and 12 minutes to their unseeded opponents from Russia and Israel in the USD 2,168,40 event.
