Ranchi : Tennis star Sania Mirza will inaugurate a state-of-the art Tennis Academy, set up by Jharkhand State Cricket Association, on Thursday .
Sania and her cricketer husband Shoaib Malik arrived on Wednesday to a rousing welcome, with JSCA president Amitabh Choudhary receiving the couple at the airport.
"It is a state-of-the-art academy. The surface alone cost Rs 40 lakh," Choudhary told PTI adding that the turf is imported from New Zealand.
Malik, who was not considered in the Pakistan squad for the ongoing limited overs series against South Africa in UAE, was all smiling at the waiting media as he waded through
the fans to reach the car.
The star couple did not take any question from the media.
