Martina Hingis not satisfied with progress in doubles comeback

Washington: Former World No.1 Martina Hingis has said that she is not happy with progress in her doubles comeback as she lost in the first round at this week`s New Haven Open along with her partner Daniela Hantuchova.

According to tennisworldusa.org, following that loss, Hingis expressed she sometimes thinks her life at home away from the courts is more comfortable. The former player said that she wanted to cry and thought the doubles pairing could play much better as they had shown in the last three tournaments, adding that they started off well in the match and then it all turned around. Hingis wondered why she put herself in pain despite having a comfort zone at home. ANI
