Andy Murray eyeing Wimbledon history ahead of semi-final clash with Tsonga London, July 5: British number one tennis player Andy Murray has said he is not satisfied by just reaching the Wimbledon semi-finals, and expressed confidence of creating history by becoming the first Britisher since 1938 to reach the final of the All England Club by beating Frenchmen Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.

Bunny Austin was the last Brit to make the final and the last winner was Fred Perry in 1936.
Murray saw off David Ferrer 6-7 7-6 6-4 7-6 to set up a last-four crunch match with Tsonga on Friday.
“It was a great win but obviously the goal now is to win the next match and try and get through to the final for the first time,” The Sun quoted Murray, as saying.

This year it will be Murray’s fourth successive appearance in the last four at SW19, and Murray wants more.
“I’ve had a good run here for the last few years, but, yeah, I’m not satisfied with that. I want to try and go further. I don’t know if it’s my best chance to get to the final. I think when I played Andy Roddick in the semis a few years ago it was also a good chance,” Murray said.

“I’m in a good position but I’ve been in this position a few times now and want to push on,” he added.
