Novak Djokovic in cheating row after Boris Becker's coaching comments: Reports

New Delhi: Defending Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic risks losing his credential after cheating claims surfaced following revelations from his star coach Boris Becker.

Becker, who helped the Serb win Wimbledon last year, revealed on Radio Five Live that he had communicated (via signals) with the top ranked men's players during the matches.

And it might go against the 28-year-old, as laws don't permit coaching while a player is on court during a match.

According to a report published in Telegraph, Becker told Radio Five Live that sometimes his charge needed "assurance" if things were going badly and he was able to provide it from the players' box.

"We have our ways about it to tell him it's good or tell him it's bad. Then it's up to him to change it," Becker said.

According to the code of conduct, communications of any kind, audible or visible, between a player and a coach may be construed as coaching.

Earlier also, Djokovic was fined twice for illegal coaching. However, at that time Becker was not coaching the Serb.
