London: Caroline Wozniacki broke into an impromptu ‘macarena’ with her tennis opponent Victoria Azarenka, at a charity match to raise funds for victims of the Thailand floods.
The two jigged around the court during breaks between sets and joked with fans at the World Tennis Charity Invitation in the Thai beach resort of Hua Hin. The battle between Wozniacki, girlfriend of Northern Ireland golf star Rory McIlroy and the world No 3 Azarenka was fierce, but the mood light. “Thank you so much for having me in Thailand. You know, it was the first time and I enjoyed my time I hope everybody enjoyed our match and I hope to be back soon,” the Daily Mail quoted Azarenka as saying after the match. She won in straight sets 6-2, 7-5, with both players glad of the work out ahead of a busy month, which culminates in the Australian Open, the first grand slam of the year. ANI
