Yuki qualifies for Charlottesville Challenger

Charlottesville: Indian teen sensation Yuki Bhambari came from behind to beat Pierre-Ludovic Duclos and sealed a berth in the ATP Challenger tournament here on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old Yuki pipped his Canadian opponent 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 in the third and final qualifying round of the USD USD 50,000 hard court tournament. He has drawn local wild card Alexander Domijan as his first round opponent in the main draw, where India`s top singles player is seeded second. Somdev is up against American Alexandr Dolgopolov. Somdev is also competing in the doubles draw with partner Treat Conrad Huey. They will face local wild card entrants Bogomolov and Alex Kuznetsov. PTI
