China`s president offered
condolences on Friday to the families of 46 South Koreans killed
in a warship blast near the tense inter-Korean border, as
ships searched for any signs the North was to blame.
President Pratibha Patil Friday conveyed her condolences to the memebers of the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injured in the Tuesday night`s devastating storm in Bihar`s Seemanchal belt.
North Korea said on Wednesday that leader Kim Jong-il had sent condolences on the death of former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung, the latest sign of a possible defrosting of relations between the rival Koreas.
