In the wake of pepper spray attack incident that led to complete pandemonium in Lok Sabha on Thursday, Lok Sabha Speaker has directed the Committee on Security to convene an emergency meeting on Monday to consider various options, which includes frisking of MPs, to prevent a repeat of such shameful incident.
The all-party meeting convened by government to explore the possibility of Parliament adopting a resolution against Sri Lanka on Wednesday night saw most parties opposing such a move, leaving no scope for it.
